Introductory Paragraph

In the past during the 1940s, when man's technology was still in its early stages, average global surface temperatures only rose about 0.07 degrees celsius per decade. However, over the past three decades, as man became more advanced, an increase in the average global surface temperature of 0.13 degrees celsius per decade was recorded. This man-induced factor caused such a great change in the rate of global warming. Thus, man is to be blamed for climate change.
